The Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF) issued a statement in response to the death of George Floyd in May 2020.
On February 22nd, Sean Dunham reached out to our staff to let us know he was hosting a Facebook Fundraiser on his personal page to raise money in honor of his birthday for the Archaeology and Historic Preservation Fund – a component fund at NMF.
The Communities Thrive Program is a “deep dive” in a small number of communities to help them capitalize on the current “Brain Gain” trend in the ways that best fit their unique community, ultimately building on the strengths and diversity within our region. This program uses place making and planning approaches to support community vitality.

Boba tea (also known as bubble tea) is a Taiwanese tea-based drink that traditionally contains milk or a similar creamer, with chewy tapioca “bubbles” that float to the bottom.
