October 4, 2023 (Bemidji, MN) – The Fosston Education Foundation Fund has announced their fall 2023 grant award recipients. The education fund awards grants to Fosston educators through a competitive application and review process.
There were four grant applications approved, with a total amount awarded over $4,000 for various projects and classrooms that support students throughout Fosston Public Schools, including:
- Literature Unite / Special Education, Fosston High School
- Kindergarten Small Group Reading Library / Magelssen Elementary
- Shop Tools for Ag Education / Fosston High School
- Fine Motor and Academic iPad / Special Education, Magelssen Elementary
“We are continually energized by the grant requests we receive to support educators in our district and further the classroom experience” said Justin Marquis, chair of the Fosston Education Foundation Fund. “We look forward to seeing how the grant dollars will benefit our students.”
The Fosston Education Foundation fund invites grant applications in support of enhancing the educational experience of Fosston students. Applications are available at either the school or upon request from the Fosston Education Foundation. Grant requests are reviewed on a quarterly basis.
In total, the Fosston Education Foundation Fund has provided 149 grant awards for a total of $200,456.50 since 2000.
