Provides financial support for programs, and activities enhancing youth athletic programs (for example nutrition, weight training, trainers) in the ISD #31, Bemidji Public Schools geographic area, including but not limited to the acquisition and maintenance of equipment, activity and instructional materials, faculty and program development and to provide scholarships to qualified student-athletes from ISD #31, or its successors, who shall be broadly defined as those who have demonstrated leadership in the school’s athletic program as a member of a team for two years, and who are pursuing post-secondary education through a college, university, community college, trade school, tech school, or other accredited non-profit technical or vocational education/training institution or programs.
