Provides scholarships to qualified students from ISD #31 (Bemidji), or its successors, who were involved in music programs at ISD #31. Preference for this scholarship shall be given to students who are pursuing post-secondary education in the area of elementary or secondary education with a focus on music education, through a college, university, community college, trade school, tech school, or other accredited non-profit technical or vocational education training institutions or programs. Preference shall also be given to students who had attended J.W. Smith Elementary School; and students who will be attending a Catholic institution of higher education.
