August 5, 2024 (Bemidji, MN) – The Northwest Minnesota Foundation is now accepting applications from agencies and organizations in support of early childhood educational programming.
This is a competitive grant and proposals must serve local and/or community projects already in development to create sustainable child care solutions, such as:
- Training and technology needs
- Child care business start-up and expansion,
- Facility modifications or improvements required for licensing
- Assistance with licensing and other regulatory requirements
Proposals are due by Sept. 16. Details on how to apply can be found online at www.nwmf.org under “Grants”.
Eligible recipients include: a public entity, tribal nation, community service agency, or 501(c)(3) organization having experience in the operation of, planning for, financing of, advocacy for, and/or advancement of the delivery of child care services.
Recipients must reside in the NMF region, which includes Red Lake Nation, White Earth Nation, and the 12 counties of Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau.
