NMF has open grants rounds through our mission-driven grants programs, as well as local funds in our family of funds. NMF is home to more than 450 local funds, many of which offer grant funding for groups and organizations to benefit their communities.

NMF provides the following listing of grant opportunities offered through our family of funds, as well as own mission-driven discretionary grants.
ROSEAU AREA COMMUNITY FUND

The Roseau Area Community Fund and the Roseau Area Education Fund are accepting grant applications in support of charitable, educational and public purpose projects that will enhance or improve the quality of life for residents and/or visitors of the Roseau area. Grants will also be considered that support the general educational programs, projects or activities of the Roseau Public School district.
Deadline: November 1st, 2025
WARREN AREA COMMUNITY FUND

The Warren Area Community Fund is now accepting grant applications for charitable, educational and public purpose activities, projects or services that enhance or otherwise improve the quality of life enjoyed by residents and/or visitors of the Warren area.
Grant applications can be downloaded below, or picked up at the Warren Godel Library, and then mailed to: P.O. Box 163, Warren, MN 56762
Deadline: November 1st, 2025
Twin Valley-Gary Area Community Fund and Joseph Urdahl Memorial Fund

The Twin Valley-Gary Area Community Fund and the Joseph Urdahl Memorial Fund are now accepting grant applications in support of charitable, educational and public purpose projects that will enhance or improve the quality of life for residents and/or visitors of the Twin Valley-Gary area. This year, there is a preference for projects that support Health & Wellness.
Deadline: October 31st, 2025
hubbard county coalition of lake associationS
The Hubbard County Coalition of Lake Associations (HC COLA) Charitable Fund provides financial support for charitable and educational programs, projects, and activities that facilitate cooperation among member lake associations and to assist in encouraging environmentally sustainable use of lakes and watersheds that protect, preserve, and enhance the quality of area lakes.
HC COLA is seeking grant proposals up to $2,000.
Deadline: October 20th, 2025

Due to recent legislative changes to the program, the second round of the PROMISE Act grant program has been pushed back.
