September 26, 2023 (Bemidji, MN) – The Eldor and Stella Omdahl Environment and Conservation Fund is now accepting grant applications to promote and preserve natural resources in Northwest Minnesota.
The Omdahl Conservation Fund, a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation, supports charitable, educational and scientific programs, projects and activities that benefit environmental and conservation causes.
Grants may fund programs, projects, collaborative work, capital projects, equipment, training, new or expanded staff, community engagement efforts, education, research, events, capacity building and other similar activities. Grants are meant to make a significant impact in the community that advance conservation and sustainability goals. For this grant round, there is $50,000 in total funding available.
Eligible applications are non-profits located within the Northwest Minnesota Foundation service area that includes Red Lake Nation, White Earth Nation, and 12 counties (Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake Falls, and Roseau)
