January 7, 2025 (Bemidji, MN) – The Eldor and Stella Omdahl Environment and Conservation Fun has approved four grant applications totaling more than $60,000 to support conservation efforts throughout Northwest Minnesota.
The Eldor and Stella Omdahl Environment and Conservation Fund is a fund in the family of funds at Northwest Minnesota Foundation. Its mission is to provide financial support for charitable, educational, and scientific programs, projects, and activities that support or benefit environmental and conservation causes.
The projects and programs approved for funding through the 2024 fall grant round are:
- Programming Support, Agassiz Audubon Society
- Nielsen Center, Mississippi Headwaters Audubon Society
- Conserving the Tallgrass Aspen Parklands, The Nature Conservancy
- Pollinator Habitat, White Earth Land Recovery
