Throughout the scholarship season, we are spotlighting scholarship recipients by sharing the thank you notes they submitted to their respective scholarship committees. The donors who support these funds and the volunteers and committee members who champion these funds are all investing in the future of this region. Tyson Mortimer, who graduated from Warren-Alvarado-Oslo High School, earned the Lyle Engelstad Scholarship.

Being chosen for this scholarship is a huge honor, it goes a long way to students like me to know that there are people out there looking out for us and helping us with the burden of tuition. The scholarship will help me be able to pay off my tuition so much quicker so I am forever grateful for this. Thank you again so much for this amazing honor.
