The Thief River Falls Area Community Fund advisory board celebrated Ole Tweet’s retirement from the advisory committee in early October, presenting him a plaque for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the TRFACF.
Tweet, who is a past chair of the advisory committee, initiated the TRFACF.
“The TRF Area Community Fund was really driven by Ole. He and Ruth actually held meetings with interested community members at their home. … In addition, Ole provided a significant gift used as a challenge match.” said Dawn Ganje, Director for Community Philanthropy at the Northwest Minnesota Foundation.
“On behalf of the entire committee and our community, we would like to thank Ole,” said Stacey Hron, chair of the TRFACF advisory committee. “I’ve heard many times that without your donations, dedication, and hard work over the past years this committee would not exist.”
