The Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF) is pleased to announce three new members to its Board of Directors.
Seyoung Moses Son, who graduated from Bemidji High School, earned the Lumberjack General Scholarship, the George Pelawa – Calgary Flames Scholarship, and the Betty L. Murray Scholarship.
NMF now accepting grant applications to promote equity-focused welcoming and inclusion initiatives, leading to more welcoming communities in our region.

To promote greater inclusion, Lead for Inclusion has partnered with Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF) to offer a sensory kit foster more inclusive spaces at community events.
Samantha Larson, who graduated from Kittson Central High School, earned the Northwest Minnesota Women’s Scholarship.
Dollars released included: $860,000 in grants through NMF’s family of funds, $322,000 in loans to small business owners, and $175,000 through NMF’s mission-driven grants programs.
A small business loan has helped a Park Rapids carpenter purchase new tools and equipment so he can increase his capacity and grow his business.
