Katrina Warkentin, who graduated from Warroad High School, earned the Warroad High School General Scholarship.

Eighth-graders at Bemidji Middle School (BMS) recently learned how to read a paper Minnesota road map, thanks to grant support from the Bemidji 31 Education Foundation.

Thanks to a program from the United Way of Bemidji Area, offered in part through Northwest Minnesota Foundation grant funding, more than two dozen families are now driving safer vehicles, thanks to needed car repairs and vehicle servicing.

Under the new partnership, Northwest Minnesota Foundation will work closely with OBT to administer $350,000 in funds for grants up to $75,000 to support local organizations that directly respond to immediate challenges and opportunities in the community.

Tyson Mortimer, who graduated from Warren-Alvarado-Oslo High School, earned the Lyle Engelstad Scholarship.

The Katie Brommenschenkel Vilmo Scholarship, a scholarship fund hosted by Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF), is seeking qualified applicants to apply for the 2024 scholarship round.

Ashley Pirkl, who graduated from Bemidji High School, earned the Heidi Bitzer McClure Memorial Scholarship.

The Northwest Minnesota Foundation is pleased to announce that Jack Swanson has joined the NMF Board of Directors.

The Neen’s Future in Space Scholarship, a scholarship fund hosted by the Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF), is seeking qualified applicants to apply for the 2024 scholarship round.
