Scholarship Spotlight: Dylan Roy
Throughout scholarship season this year, we are featuring a series spotlighting previous scholarship recipients by sharing the thank you notes they submitted to their respective scholarship committees.
Dylan Roy, a graduate of Win-E-Mac, earned the Arthur I. and Jane B. Snustad Scholarship.
Here is what he submitted:
Dear Snustad Fund Trustee(s),
My name is Dylan Roy from McIntosh, Minnesota, and I am honored to be a recipient of the Arthur I. & Jane B. Snustad Scholarship. I thank you for helping me afford college and for the generosity of this scholarship. My parents have stressed the importance of education to me since I was young and have made me realize the importance of a college degree. The University of North Dakota was a pleasure to go to throughout my first semester and I hope the second semester is as fun and rewarding. Joy is what I have experienced so far and nothing, but joy was felt when I was selected for this scholarship.
Once again, I thank you for your support and generosity with this scholarship.
