Throughout scholarship season this year, we are featuring a series spotlighting previous scholarship recipients by sharing the thank you notes they submitted to their respective scholarship committees.
Ella Weber, a graduate of Crookston, earned the Larsen Family Achievement Award.
Here is what she submitted:

Dear Larsen Family,
I am Ella Weber, a student from Crookston, Minnesota. I currently attend Princeton University to study public policy. I would like to thank you for your generosity in providing me with this scholarship. This scholarship has allowed me to not worry about paying tuition and has allowed me to fully focus on my studies. I was extremely grateful when I heard I received this award because this scholarship allowed me to buy a new computer through the university. This computer has made my learning experience exponentially better especially when I took online classes because previously with my Chromebook, my computer was unable to handle all the programs I had to use, especially my coding class.
I truly believe it is people like you that make the world a better place by providing students like me with a scholarship this large. With your help, I was able to attend one of the best universities in the world. I greatly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Ella Weber
