Throughout the scholarship season, we are spotlighting scholarship recipients by sharing the thank you notes they submitted to their respective scholarship committees.
The donors who support these funds and the volunteers and committee members who champion these funds are all investing in the future of this region. We thank them for their work in making a sustainable impact of the lives of those who call our community home.
Hallie Harmoning, a graduate of Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls, earned the Lois Ludwig Memorial Scholarship.
Here is what she submitted:
I am really enjoying going to college and think that I will love Dental Hygiene. The main reason that college has been so enjoyable for me is because I have not had to be stressed about money.
I am beyond thankful for this Lois Ludwig scholarship. Thank you so much for your generosity. Another reason this scholarship is helping me is because I won’t have any debt after college. I am so happy and thankful that I was selected for this scholarship.
Thank you so much!
- Hallie Harmoning
