Throughout the scholarship season, we are spotlighting scholarship recipients by sharing the thank you notes they submitted to their respective scholarship committees. The donors who support these funds and the volunteers and committee members who champion these funds are all investing in the future of this region. We thank them for their work in making a sustainable impact of the lives of those who call our community home.
Nicholas Winge, who graduated from Stephen-Argyle Central High School, earned the James Burlum Memorial Scholarship.
Here is what he submitted:
My name is Nicholas Winge I am from Kennedy, Minnesota a small town in the upper North West corner. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for awarding me this amazing scholarship. This scholarship will significantly help me on my journey to becoming a certified landscaper as I am currently starting my own landscape and lawn care company back home. When I heard I received the reward I immediately called my family and told them how great full and happy I felt! Thank you once again for choosing me for this scholarship.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Winge
