In January, the Boys & Girls Club of Bemidji Area hosted an exhibit displaying 181 pieces of artwork submitted by 87 of its Club members.

Isaiah Biehn, a graduate of Bemidji, earned the TEAM Industries – Don Ricke Scholarship.

Colt Uhlenhopp, a graduate of Bemidji, earned the Ray F. and John F. Breen Scholarship.

An NMF grantee, the United Way of Bemidji Area, held a Car Care Clinic in October 2021 through its Wheels to Work: Fueling Opportunities to Thrive program.

Sophia Morin, a graduate of Bemidji, earned three scholarships through NMF: the Drew Russ Memorial Scholarship, George Pelawa-Calgary Flames Scholarship, and TEAM Industries – Don Ricke Scholarship.

Peoples Church in Bemidji hosted its second COVID-19 vaccine clinic on November 19, having secured funding through NMF’s Vaccine Incentive Program to assist in covering its costs.

Two residents of Northwest Minnesota are among eight individuals throughout Minnesota who have been chosen as Fellows for the two-year Initiators Fellowship, which assists social entrepreneurs in fast-tracking their ideas, growing their social and professional networks, and further developing their business and community leadership skills.
